During the day, the Prince visited the Higgins Museum in Bedford before viewing the Christmas Tree Festival at St Pauls Church in the town. From there he travelled to the village of Tempsford where - after a short service in the parish church - he unveiled a memorial to women agents who flew out of the nearly RAF base during World War 2.
