The Court House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, One of the oldest surviving buildings in the town it has a projecting upper storey. Dating from Tudor times it has was used by courts for over 200 years, and subsequently as a school and now a Church Hall. The Town Corporation met here after receiving its charter from James I in 1618.
