In support of Operation DEEP FREEZE 2001 a Bell UH-1N operated by Helicopters New Zealand at Christchurch, New Zealand, is loaded into a Lockheed C-141C Starlifter operated by the 452nd Air Mobility Wing, March Air Reserve Base, California. The helicopter will be shipped to McMurdo Station at Ross Island in Antarctica as part of the DEEP FREEZE resupply mission.
