Tokyo Sky Tree by Sumida River Illuminated at Night


Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of metres (2,080 ft) in March 2011. It is a popular tourist destination and large crowds can be expected especially during the weekends. Queues to go up the observatory can take hours and visitors are advised to pre-book the tickets beforehand. There are many viewing spots to see the sky tree. One of the most popular is from across the Asakusa side of the Sumida River.
