A balcony was built in the rear and the interior is finished in white and green tile. The large sliow window was very attractive on the evening of October 19, when it was artistically arranged with or- chids, roses and other seasonable stock. A large vase of fancy Ameri- can Beauty roses, grown by George Reinberg, occupied the most prominent place in the display and was greatly admired by the public. K. A. McKeand, head gardener at the National Military Home, Marion, Ind., was called to this city this week by the serious illness of his brother. Mr. McKeand visited the local parks during his stay here and was very favorably impressed with his inspec- tion.
