Longstone lighthouse in the Farne Islands Northumberland UK
The Longstone lighthouse was the historic home of Grace Darling the famous lighthouse keeper's daughter who helped save 9 shipwrecked soles from the PS Forfarshire in 1838. Built in 1826 the lighthouse had been manned until 1990 when it was automated.
