RECEIPT OF SHEET CURRENCY : The notes are receivedfrom the Bureau of Engraving and Printing at 8:30 each businessday. and the packages are carefully checked off and receipted for bythe Division Chief, or his assistant, subject to count. The packages are at once numbered from i to 48, in the order in?which the notes run numerically, in order to facilitate the arranging ofthe packages later in the day, and are then given to the sheet countersfor verification in the order in which they are required in the PressRoom, and is for the purpose of doing away with tne necessity of re-arranging the seals in the forms. SEALING: In the meantime the presses, six in number, arebeing prepared for the process of sealing. As soon as a sufficient 74 number of bundles have been counted to start the presses they are atonce sent to the Press Room.
