West Hyde, Hertfordshire, UK. 24th January, 2022. Trees planted by HS2 in fields near the South Portal compound in West Hyde. Sadly many of the replacement trees planted by HS2 die without watering. Much of the Three Rivers area is now unrecognisable due to the HS2 construction work. Today the Government are due to introduce the High Speed Rail (Crewe - Manchester) Bill in Parliament.
