They scuffledaround, regardless of the bystanders, for sometime ; but when at length they paused for breath,and sat back on their tails and heels to gasp, Iwas quite shocked to recognize Biddy andRandy. After another round they were shooedaway by one of the onlookers, who evidentlydisapproved of Sunday brawling. They thenflew to the nearest roof to go on as afternoon I found below the nest not onlythe intrusive marble, but also the remains of thefive eggs, all alike thrown out, and I suspect thatthe presence of that curious h
