I think a lot of it; not such a strong grower as some others, still it increases very well. This is the early C. Perciva- liana; will be in flower by the holidays; valuable in this respect. Under this chestnut tree I find these to have done very well. V'p on this bench they get plenty of air and it is cooler than the house; they are from the mountainous regions of Mexico and like the cool fresh air. I think a great many orchids are given too much heat, and would do better with this kind of ; "This lot of chrysanthemums look like ; "Yes^ they are. Some are from seed I received from California, and a good many are from seed I saved myself. Come around in the fall and I think I shall have some good ones to show ; Seasonable Hints.
