The loop of the Milescasting ropes is then placed over the horses head and aroundbase of neck (u) (r), with knot (r) in front of breast. Bothropes are passed between the fore legs and backward (i) (j)—from within outward, around the hind legs above the hocks(m) ; then forward and upward (k) (1) through the collarloop (q). The free ends of the ropes (s) (t) are now handed. Fig. 162.
