It should beremembered that the pantagraph trolleys on these cars collectcurrent at 6,600 volts pressure, which current is fed to themotors at a maximum pressure of 240 volts. With the auto-transformer no resistance grids are required, the varioussteps in the feeding of the motors being obtained by the drum. The main com-partment has four fixed double seats and 11 rattan covereddouble seats of the walkover type. The toilet compartmentis placed at one end of the center portion of the car. Thecars are heated with Baker Mighty Midget heaters installedin the vestibules. The various fittings of the cars includecontinuous parcel racks.
