The Lake 120,000 Survey Board estimates the average flow to be 265,000 feet persecond. To develop the power would therefore require ll-265thsor a little more than four per cent, of the total flow, an amountscarcely perceptible at the Falls. This estimate is based on theassumed diversion of all the water that the tunnel will amount taken at first will be much smaller. The whole amountwould operate 240 mills of 500 horse-power each.— The Satisfactory Way. The execution of this little bookwas entirely turned over to The Matthews-Northrup Co., ofBuffalo, N. Y.
