UNITED STATES - August 21, 2017: Richard and Griffin Russell of Maryland used welding face-shields to view the solar eclipse at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly Virginia. The solar eclipse drew an estimated audience of 220 million people in the United States and is the largest crowd to witness the rare total solar eclipse in the history of eclipses.
