Midlotian cement plant furnace of Holcum plant southwest of Dallas is one of biggest CO2 polluter. As cities grow they need cement and makes the cement industry one of the biggest polluters in the world. Three plants along the highway have given Midlothian the name of "concrete alley," the town is the official "Concrete City of Texas."
