By observation of the interior of antra through holes and imperfectionsof the walls, aided by an electric light sufficiently small to be introducedinto the nasal passages. Of the sections forty were cut on purpose, principally transversely, abouthalf an inch above the level of the floor of the nose. One half of eachsection shows the floor of both antra and the floor of the nose, the otherhalf showing, of course, the upper parts corresponding.
