anti-fracking protest at Barton Moss drilling site as news comes in they have leave to appeal the eviction from the site


Protester being helped from tree during a lock-on protest on the access to the iGas drilling rig on Barton Moss. Anti-fracking campaigners from Barton Moss Protection Camp and supporters protest on Barton Moss Road, the access road to iGas drilling rig. News comes through from the Court of Appeal in London that they have been granted leave to appeal Judge Pellings ruling issued on Monday at Manchester Civil Justice Centre that the land owners, Peel Holdings, take possession of the land and the eviction of the camp take place at mid-day. News of leave to appeal came in a few minutes before the eviction was due to take place and the news lead to much rejoicing and a carnival atmosphere.
