It was in thelast century that the estate was bought by Mr. Colin Clark,who jjreserved the fame for hospitality that it had alwaysenjoyed, up to the time of its deplorable destruction. Not far from the restored mansion may be seen theold graveyard containing the ancient tond)s of the Warners,Lewises and others. Some of these date from the seven-teenth SHKUWOOD.
