We can not live on the glory of the past; ours it is to raise the wallsupon the foundations and leave to another generation the ornamentation of the souls are to be saved and when generous, honest souls are hurrying hither andthither in the shadow of death, following foolishly phantom lights, who will rest, whowill spare the sacrifice and sit with hands piously folded pronouncing the idle word,enough?
