The event also gives Marines a chance to enjoy time with their spouses while presenting them with specific aspects of their job they may not have known before. “It’s fun getting to see how the families react because you know they will probably never see this again unless they do another Jane Wayne day,” said Monroe. “Since we do this every day, it gets lost on us the impact of what we do and how crazy it looks to people outside of the Marine Corps.
