Fostair asthma drug and inhaler. This metered-dose inhaler combines the corticosteroid drug beclometasone dipropionate and the bronchodilator drug formoterol fumarate dihydrate. Fostair inhalers are prescribed for patients with asthma that is not controlled by short-acting bronchodiltor drugs such as salbutamol. Fostair is also used by patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Fostair is produced by the Chiesi pharmaceutical company.
