Cacares is the pricipal town of Cáceres province, in the region of Extremadura, Spain. These images date to 1982-3 but in 1986 the old town was declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO because of the city's blend of Roman, Moorish, Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance architecture.
