This footpath leads from my home village of Radley to Radley College boathouse. It's close to the Thames, prone to flooding and also to fog rising from the river. It manages to look pretty just about throughout the year - and particularly here on a fine, crisp winter sunrise. The rising sun is behind me, casting long shadows. After weeks of heavy rain, the Thames has overflowed, flooding surrounding areas - like this.
