Deep in the remote mountains of the Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa in black and white. The Drakensberg Mountains formed during the Jurassic period large flood basalt during the break-up of the Gondwana Supercontinent and erosion from the later uplift of the African Continent. The Drakensberg Park were declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000 to protect the natural habitats, but also due to its cultural significant since it has the largest concentration of rock paintings in Sub Sahara Africa.
