Plant medium, of good climbing habit, lightly productive. Pods light green, round, constricted, deeply creasebacked, coarse in texture. Seed slate-grey marked with long stripes of dark olive-green; 65 per oz. U. S. No. 3 6 to 7 Y2 65 Introduced in 1935 by the Division of Fruit and Vegetable Crops and Diseases of the United States Department of Agriculture. Similar in some respects to White Kentucky Wonder; an attractive variety. Plant vigorous, 5 to 6 feet tall and good climber. Pods round, fairly straight, medium green, smooth, meaty, stringless at all stages, tender and of fine quality. Seed medium large, flattish oval, solid white, 88 per oz. Good for home and market gardens and for canning. WHITE CORNFIELD 5 to 6 V2 72 An excellent late variety for planting in the South. Good for green snap beans and for dry shelled. Plant vigorous growing and prolific with long bearing period. Pods medi- um green, round, meaty and tender. Seed oval, white, 110 per oz. WHITE CREASEBACK 5 to 6 y2 63 Blue Lake is a derivative of this variety. Early, vigorous; strongly productive. Snap pods round, dull green, fleshy, stringless when young, tender, and of good quality. Seed small, oval, ivory white; 120 per oz. Good for home and market garden, and for canning. WHITE KENTUCKY WONDER or BURGER'S STRING- LESS 6 to 7V2 y2 64 For home garden and trucker's use. Plant medium, 4 to 5 feet tall, good climber.
