We swam the horses across, built a stage for a cache, unloadedthe scow, and got everything ready to move into the work. The next morning wemoved to the southwest quarter of section 2, township 73, range 19 and commencedsubdivision. On the night of the 3rd and the two following days there were flurries ofsnow which lodged in the trees, and made it somewhat disagreeable for the line the S
