CHURCHES OF EEIv RIVER CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE 61 part of Hunting-ton county, Ind., in 1848, by Revs. George Abbott andE. W. Wood, with about thirty charter members. The church buildingis a substantial frame and is valued at SIOOO. This church has beenserved by the following ministers: K. W. Wood, George Abbott, , P. Zeigler, Nelson Abbott, David Hidy, Uziah Kimble, , Rev. McGee, Wm. Heflin, Jacob Rittenhouse, W. G. Parker, Wood and Samuel Frantz. The church now has about 35 loyalmembers. Rev. D. A. McGinnis, one of our pioneer exhorters is aresident member of this church. Mrs. lea Hollett is the present churchclerk, and Rev. Samuel Frantz, of North Manchester, is the pastor. SHILO CHRISTIAN CHURCH Located in the town of Swayzee, Grant county, Ind., was organizedDecember 26, 1883, by Rev. Thomas J. Puckett.
