Gibraltar - 13th October 2015 - Military transport planes have flown on a frequent daily basis to RAF Gibraltar as Britain continues to increase its use of its military base in Gibraltar. The increased use of the base has coincided with both the NATO exercise, Cougar 2015 Operation Trident Juncture, and the continued increase in tensions in the middle east since Russia's involvment in Syria. Military transport planes have landed at RAF Gibraltar on a daily basis, with two Puma helicopters landing during the weekend, and HMS Bulwark having used the base to resupply for its forthcoming exercise in the region.
