Brig Gen. David Elwell, 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command commanding general, Patricia Pope, Command Sgt. Maj. Renita Duncan, former 311th ESC Equal Opportunity Advisor and winner of the Merlin G. Pope Jr. Award, and Command Sgt. Maj. Grady Blue, 311th ESC command sergeant major, were in attendance at a Dining Out on the United States Ship Iowa (BB-61), the last lead ship of any class of United States battleships, March 4, at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro.
