This is the best road, as the road is excellent to withinabout 20 miles of the monument, whereas by the Marysvale-Panguitch route it is necessary to travel over at least 55 miles ofbad road. When the State highway to the Grand Canyon of theColorado River shall have been completed this monument will beonly about 25 miles from the main road from Salt Lake to the GrandCanyon.
