The first 5 presacrals carry two separate processes—a diapophysis on the arch and a para- pophysis on the centrum or on the preceding intercentrum; articu- lating with these there are 5 slender dichocephalous ribs which have the tuberculum and capitulum separated by a deep notch. The characters of the next vertebra—the 6th—show an abrupt change; the diapophysis and parapophysis are fused to form an elongated.
