The Long Path, made dear to many through thewalk taken there by the Autocrat and the schoolmistress,runs from the corner of Boy 1st on and Tremont Sts. to theGuild Memorial steps. It passes the spot where once stoodthe Great Elm from the limbs of which executions are sup-posed to have taken place in the early days.
