Green and yellowing leaves of Oleaster / Elaeagnus ebbingei / E. submacrophylla in sandy dune ground. Possibly water stress / drought / water shortage

Also somewhat erroneously known as the Wild Olive, this particular specimen is shown growing in sand dunes which are a bit parched of water, hence the slightly discoloured water stressed leaves. During better wet periods of the year the leaves are a good solid green colour. This specimen is believed to be the hybrid E. ebbingei, while the true form of Oleaster / Elaeagnus angustifolia has more powdery-silver leaves, sometimes narrower.
