Polled Durham are good beef animals,but the development /has been largely inthe direction of superior milking are raised quite extensively in themiddle states, and are destined to becomea very popular breed. A man can make a success with anybreed if he takes a liking to it, but do notselect a brand that you do not like, as youwill never take sufficient interest in yourwork to be successful.
