Vintage French flat iron on a stand
An old flat iron found in the attic of an old Chateau. Has probably not been used for 100 years. I didn't clean it at all just took the photo as I found it. It is photographed on an old stand that was used to protect the surface of whatever it was placed on. The buffet I put it on is dated from the 1820s and has a deep brown patina.
