Essaouira, Morocco - January 29 2019: Borj Bab Marrakech is the most important defensive building on the land side. It is in the form of a large circular tower 35 m in diameter and occupies an area of approximately 980 m², designed to house a dozen cannons spread over an angle of 270 °, thus dominating most of the eastern entrances of the medina.
