The Throat Pool—which isactually part of the lough—is, probably, the best on the river,but there is little to choose between it and the others, whichtaken as they occur down the river are : The Garden Pool, TheEel-weir Pool, The Old Bridge Pool, and The Bridge Pool. Thepools can be covered from the bank, but, for the convenience ofany who are not adepts at casting a long line, piers have beenmade to assist those anglers in covering- the wider THE GARDEN POOL: LACKAGH R1\ER.
