The plant is vigorous and succeeds upon a great variety of soils, and invariably yields very heavily. It begins to ripen quite early and continues almost to the close of the season. It is firm and a good shipper and gives large pickings for a longer period than most varieties. MIXED PLANTS. In digging plants we some- times get up too many of certain varieties and have them left over. Occasionally a plot in the field becomes mixed. My mixed plants are made up either from plants left over or from a mixed plot. They will be good plants and when possible we will tell you the name of the PROGRESSIVE—The most popular fall bearer EVERBEARING STRAWBERRIES Bears from June till Thanlisgiving. These everbearing strawberries are pre-eminently the home-garden berry, although the frui. may be shipped short distances if properly packed. The method of raising these berries is tht same as for the other sorts, excepting that for the first season (that is, the same season thej are planted), all blossoms that come before the middle of July should be kept cut off. Thej not only produce a good crop of berries the first year planted, but the following year they fruit at the same time as the old standard sorts and then produce another crop in the fall.
