WELISARA NAVAL BASE, Sri Lanka (March 30, 2017) Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, acting as simulated disaster victims, approach the entry control point of a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR) camp during HA/DR training at Welisara Naval Base as part of a theater security cooperation engagement, March 30. Working with foreign militaries provides Marines and Sailors valuable training with warriors from another culture and builds camaraderie between partner nations’ militaries.
