The Agricultural College is prepared to renderany community aid in preparing a program. Thepackage library contains material for debates,material for preparing talks or addresses, recitations,dialogues, plays, pageants, etc. Lantern slides andmotion picture films are also furnished. Any one desiring any kind oflelp in preparing a program should write the NorthDakota Agricultural College. Requests for thisservice have come from every state in the Unionind from foreign lands. Two State fairs are held annually. The one for:he eastern part of the State meets alternate yearsIt Fargo and Grand Forks. The western fair isleld annually at Mandan. Fairs are held in many of the counties. Many of the newspapers publish the articles onfarm and home topics distributed by the Agricul-tural College; in this way making available thelatest information on agriculture and home eco-nomics. LAND VALUES Land Values are still low in North Dakota. Thebetter Red River Valley lands are selling from $40to $100 per acre depending on location and improve-ments. In the central part of the State the land willaverage $10 less per acre than in the Red RiverValley. In the extreme western part of the stategood farm lands sell for $15 to $40 per acre
