A whole herd. Botswana: THE SECRET thrills and spills of an elephant watering hole at night have been captured in all their night-time glory. One image shows the bull elephant enjoying a midnight drink before investigating the camera, approaching to inspect the strange object. Bull elephants grow to 13-feet tall and can weigh up to tonnes. On average, they live to be around 75-years old. These images were captured by professional photographer Clint Ralph in Savuti, Botswana using a Canon R5 camera. ?For the closeup shots I placed my camera at the water?s edge and used a remote to trigger it when the Elephants were in frame,? said Clint. ?This particular bull was inquisitive with regard to the camera and my smell on the camera so he moved in closer for a better look. ?He got excited and splashed mediadrumimages/ClintRalph
