This photograph depicts a Caproni 5 night bomber, an Italian biplane used during World War I. The Caproni 5 had a wing span of 76 feet and 10 inches and was equipped with three PIAT motors producing 290 horsepower. It had an endurance of 4 hours and 30 minutes, a climb rate of 13 minutes and 33 seconds to 6,500 feet, a speed of miles at 6,500 feet, a ceiling of 21,300 feet, and carried a payload of 661 lbs. The crew consisted of three members and the aircraft was armed with four guns.
