MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 14, 2014) – Gas Turbine System Mechanical Fireman Samantha Stapp, from Olathe, Kansas, hands off an engineering procedure binder after verifying the alignment of a gas generator seawater cooling system during an engineering drill aboard USS Cole (DDG 67). Cole, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer homeported in Norfolk, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
