She is well aware of thestaffing situation in smaller hospitals whichwill be an advantage to her in her new duty. Miss Talpash enjoys a varied fareof cultural and social activities, ranging fromclasses in public speaking, music appreciation,and interior decorating to bowling, swimming,and Haroid K. White. Winnipeg Helen Talpash Edna Harriette Felsing has returned toihe hospital from which she graduated in 1938— the Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton, — as director of nursing service andnursing education. In the interval she ka^ se-cured her certificate in pediatric and orthopedicnursing at the Childrens Memorial Hospital,Montreal, her certificate in teaching and super-vision from the McGill School for GraduateNurses and latterly her Bachelor of Nursingdegree from the same university. For eightyears she was educational director and scietKCinstructor at Jeffery Hale*s Hospital, QuebecCity. Miss Felsing feels her choice of readingmatter may sound dull to others but shethoroughly enjoys non-fiction. Skiing providesher outdoor pleasure when there is snow andtime permits. Vol. 49.
