Ben Nevis from a cairn on the route from the summit of Meallach nan Coirean (939m) towards Stob Ban (999m). The cairn is a mixture of red granite rocks from Meallach nan Coirean and grey quartzite from Stob Ban. This is the area where there is a sudden change from one rock type to another.
