A splendid sword in the style dating from 1490/1500 Double-edged blade of diamond section, the surfaces slightly pitted. Cut with triple fullers on each side of the upper third. S-shaped, curved brass quillons. One side each bearing a corded rib, the flat reverse side engraved with thorned tendril decoration. Ivory grip, engraved brass pommel cap, slightly flawed.
