Navy Visibility Day is a Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) proprietary recruitment program built specifically for the purpose of attracting the brightest, diverse college prospects, and showcasing opportunities for both military and civilian careers. Its purpose is the build and sustain strategic networks with universities and colleges while promoting Navy awareness within a diverse and under-represented community. Navy Visibility Day offers a Lean Six Sigma Workshop, Career Expo, Panel Discussion, and the Navy’s Virtual Reality Experience, the NIMITZ. NRC consists of a command headquarters, three navy recruiting regions, 18 Navy recruiting districts and eight Navy talent acquisition groups that serve more than 1,300 recruiting stations across the world. Their combined goal is to attract the highest quality candidates to assure the ongoing success of America’s Navy.
