Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. 16th July, 2015. The Floral Clock in Princes Street Gardens has today been revealed, which this year celebrates Edinburgh's ten years as a UNESCO City of Literature. The famous timepiece takes over five weeks to create and features a different theme each year. The first was planted in 1903 and over the years it has been inspired by themes such as Robert Louis Stevenson's centenary, Edinburgh's decade as a Fairtrade City and Queen Elizabeth II's coronation.
