Campground access track Mt Zeil (Urlatherrke) Wilderness Park, West MAcdonnell Ranges, Northern Territory

Mt Zeil / Urlatherrke (1531m) is the Northern Territory's highest peak and one of the Australian Eight. The wilderness camp was established by the Connellan Family who owned neighbouring Narwietooma Station, to provide access to Mt Zeil from the north. The mountain is covered in sharp spinifex and crumbling rock and its trackless ridges are a challenging climb.
