A pair of Greek greaves, 5th/4th century Slender, short bronze greaves with pronounced contour. Double decorative bosses, palms, lotus blossoms, lines of beads, and herringbone and wave patterns on the narrow upper ends. Only fragments of the decoration along the perimeter have been retained. Length 28 cm. Reddish-brown patina with the metallic surface visible in places. Minor repairs. Interior stabilised with fibreglass. Axel Guttmann Collection (Inv.
